Always love visiting Guntersville and this trip was no exception… we enjoyed staying at this nice home right on the lake. One level and plenty of room. Easy to find and the owner is very easy to work with. Check in was a breeze. We had ages from 3 months to 63 and everyone had a relaxing fun time.

House was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. We wanted a quiet place on the lake where our dog could swim and we could enjoy the lake. It was all that and more. The house had such a clean smell when you walked in. Floors were spotless and the couch was actually vacuumed! Even though there were houses on each side, the house was situated on the lot with tons of trees. We never saw anyone else. The sitting area by the lake was divine! We will definitely return when we are back in the area.

We stayed for almost 2 weeks and loved the property! It was clean, comfortable, well stocked, on a gorgeous flat lot, had a nice boathouse and was in an excellent location! The owners were lovely and communicated appropriately. We will be back!

Very nice clean cabin close to the water and private. Nice boat house and plenty of small to large fish to catch there. Close to town for about anything you may need.

My family and I stayed for a few days and had a great time! Beautiful home on a perfect lot! The only thing missing is a private boat ramp and the only reason I even mention that is because we have a couple of large fishing kayaks that we weren't able to use but we had the bass boat too so it worked out fine. There is a public boat launch about a mile aways. Highly recommend staying here!

Very accurate description of rental. Accommodated the 4 of us with room to spare. Updated bathrooms was very nice with the walk in showers. Only suggestion if your fisherman with boat very tight turn around with big truck and 21ft boat. Once we figured out just back down drive way all was perfect. Would defentiley rent again.

Owner was helpful and responded promptly. Good size, wooded lot with very gentle slope to water. Bathrooms and kitchen have been nicely updated. Newer master bedroom and master bath with large tile shower and large soaking tub has brand new mini-split HVAC system that works great. Two bedrooms have queen beds. Kitchen is well equipped. Many large windows and sliding glass doors provide water views. We enjoyed the large patio with outdoor tables and comfortable chairs. We also appreciated the outdoor string lighting from the patio to the boat house! The boat house guest slip with the lift worked well for our 20 ft ski boat. Covered deck off the guest slip was very nice for lake and sunset views. Water in the area is generally calm and free of weeds. Location is convenient to main lake area including City Harbor from the water and downtown Guntersville by road.

We absolutely loved this rental property. All the windows allowed us to see the gorgeous lake view from every room. The house was very well stocked and located close to local dining and shopping. The owner was easily reachable and quick to respond. We would definitely rent this house again and highly recommend it.

We loved this place! Comfortable house right on the lake. This property has a dock with slip that visitor can use. This enabled me to skip loading/unloading my boat everyday for use. This was especially helpful when it rained! This makes it great for fishing trips... We definitely recommend staying here.

Six friends, 65+ stayed a four night weekend at this lovely home. Very comfortable for us! A level ranch on a beautiful lot overlooking Lake Guntersville. Plenty of nice restaurants nearby. Lots of shopping available. We enjoyed cooking in the well equipped kitchen, though. Kicking back and watching the momma Robin feed her babies in the nest outside the window was as peaceful a stay as possible. Great getaway to let friends meet and catch up!

The owner was great, the house and property was nice and peaceful. Great views from every room. Loved the boathouse, even has a boat lift. Will definitely return.

A great relaxing location with lake views from every room exactly as described. We loved hanging by the firepit. Our pets especially enjoyed the large windows to watch the birds. Additionally, Nicholas responded quickly on questions we had.

A quiet retreat with tranquil views of the lake, birds and beautiful sunsets from the dock. We loved the back patio in the evenings. Fishing was OK but had to be patient. Bass, catfish, bluegill, eagle, loons and ospreys were common.

Was there for a week with husband, daughter, her husband and boys. We were very pleased with location, the use of the boathouse, but especially Nicholas! Wonderful host! He was always pleasant and helpful everytime I talked with him! Property was clean and there was plenty of room for all of us. We will definitely be returning!

My daughter describes it as welcoming and cozy. My son was excited about the huge couch. My Husband loved the boat house and the quick access to the lake. (We fished every night, and he finally got that big bass!). I loved watching the wonderful birds while I drank my morning coffee. Overall, was a great place. We made many memories and we left feeling a little closer. The owners were really friendly as well.

We fell in love with this property. It close to 431, easy to find, close to dining and attractions. Very private, beautiful lake view offered much needed relaxation. There is a sweet furball next door, I think the neighbors have invisible fencing and our dogs definitely wanted to play. We also enjoyed the ducks and saw blue herrings every day. The house was very clean, comfy beds, loved the bunk bed room for the kids.. all bedrooms have a beautiful lake view. Spacious kitchen and outdoor area with a grill. Fire pit and plenty of outdoor seating. Private dock & boat slip. Huge bathrooms! The property manager was kind and very helpful. We will definitely be renting this adorable cottage by the lake again.

Home is close to many places around Lake Guntersville Lake. Great parking for multiple vehicles. Located in a quiet neighborhood which is well maintained. Property manager was easy to reach and assisted with some minor issues we had upon arrival. Check in was super easy. Beds were very comfortable. Everything was on one floor which made it nice for family member using a walker. No steps to enter into home was great when handling luggage in and out. Overall great stay.

My family and I adored this place. Everything felt so comfortable, very relaxing and quiet. The beds were great, kitchen and bathrooms were wonderful. And the dock was where we spent most of our time. Fishing on and off the dock was always a win. Beware if you come in June the mayflies hatch and it can be quite annoying. We saw tons of gar swimming but were never bothered by them. The neighbors were sweet people and the dogs enjoyed swimming and playing in the yard. The view itself was worth the drive. We took our bass boat and had absolutely no trouble using the lift in the guest slip of the boat garage. Everything you could ever need or want is within a 10 mile drive. I highly recommend eating at crawmamas restaurant and GTO bait and tackle. Loved that we had the cooking grate over the fire pit, I believe we cooked on it every night we were there. Very pleased with our stay will definitely be back!!!

Wife and I stayed for 3 nights for our 6 year wedding anniversary. We both loved it! Very quaint and loved how close it was to the water no steps getting down to the water it's a one-story house which we loved! We've stayed at several lake houses that are two story or three story houses with tons of steps getting down to The boathouse which makes a big difference! Would definitely stay here again and bring 2 other people with us next time!

Been renting a lake home for the family the past 15 years and everyone said they loved this one best overall. They want to return next year although I have always went to a different lake and state each year for different experiences. They may persuade me to return to Huntersville next year though.

What an amazing week we have had here in Guntersville Alabama and we could not have asked for a nicer place than the Guntersville Getaway Vacation Home!!! I am confined to a wheelchair so I wasn't sure how it would be for me to get around but it was definitely workable. The entry way was gravel but not bad at all and a little step incline to get into the house but it is in my opinion definitely wheelchair accessible. I brought a ramp for the back door and that worked perfect for getting in and out of the house onto the patio. I would definitely recommend this home if you're in a wheelchair and have a little help. I was able to go down the walk way and enjoy the boat shed where they have an amazing deck to sit and enjoy the lake life. My family and I had an awesome time and we will definitely be booking with Nicholas and Lyndall when we come back!! Thanks guys for sharing your beautiful home with me and my family...

Our family stayed at this pristine lake house in early March 2019. The home was everything we were looking for and exactly matched the VRBO description. Quiet neighborhood with lots of land on the property that takes you all the way to the pier/boat house. Both the pier and boathouse are fairly new. The boathouse was great for our bass boat as it provides protection and the lift allowed my husband to keep boat the out of the water. A nice long driveway which allows several cars to park and you are away from any main road. The house itself was extremely clean and had all the modern conveniences one would wish for. We never had a problem with cell/internet service. The bedrooms are large and the beautiful bathrooms are very modern as you would find in a high end hotel. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to prepare meals. Floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors provide views of the lake from most every room in the house. Nice size laundry room to do a load of laundry if need be. The house is located in a very quiet cove but in just a short boat ride you can be out on the main lake. With no busy boat traffic it's a fantastic location for your avid fisherman or maybe floating around in rafts during the summer months. I would recommend this house to anyone!! The owners are very approachable, friendly and will do all they can to make your stay a memorable one. Would love to come back during the warmer months. Just a beautiful area to have a vacation.
